TradeUp Careers LLC was conceptualized and founded in 2019 by Jessica McCarthy. Jessica came from the staffing world and saw a need for a staffing company that, quite simply, does business differently. There was a need for an inexpensive, but high-quality recruitment source, with a core focus in skilled trades. Jessica soon thereafter, partnered with her brother-in-law, David Crane. This pairing made perfect sense; Jessica’s staffing and business knowledge coupled with Dave’s hands on experience in trades makes us stand apart. Dave is a retired Navy Vet (Seabee) who in his military and civilian life, has worked a range of trade positions. Since 2019, Jessica and Dave’s business model, “Business at the Next Level”, has provided over 20 clients their staffing needs and growth has been substantial. Coming into 2021, TradeUp’s growth enabled them to add on an additional partner/co-owner, John Evarts. John also comes from the staffing world and has brought in a lot of fresh ideas and his assistance to the team has been more than awarding! So, that’s us! We’re local people wanting to best serve our local and non-local clients and show that using a third-party staffing company doesn’t need to be complicated!
